Nishika is a student at NYU majoring in neural science and minoring in philosophy. Her research interests include the biological mechanisms of memory consolidation and Alzheimer’s disease. She is especially interested in the intersection between the study of the brain and our understanding of what it means to be human (such as the origin of consciousness and the implications of memory for the construction of one’s identity).
